Sick, frustrated, irritated and oh so sleepy. I had a fever yesterday plus a very bad flu plus a very bad sore throat. Furthermore, the virus had passed down to both of my daughters. Lucky the little one only had a mild flu. But Putri had the worst. She's got a bad cough plus a bad flu. Last night, her coughs made her vomit all of her milk out. She was uneasy about the situation and kept on crying [screaming to be exact]. Since I'm the caretaker of both of my children, I decided not to sleep and guess what, I kept myself wide awake the whole night. Luckily my brother was not at home. He's in KL now for his gig again so the computer became my friend. Haha. I hope I get well BY TODAY. I can't be feeling this way for too long. Who's going to look after my kids when I'm still sick? What's that? Mr. Hubby? I don't think so. He's too rough in handling kids. Haha.

Anyway, my little baby have been doing really well. She's turning 3 weeks old next Monday. It's just sad that I can't breastfeed her since I'm smoking. For your info, smoking reduces the quality of breastmilk. And as we all know a cigarette contains harmful chemicals like caffeine and nicotine. But according to our old grandmother's story, we have to at least offer some breastmilk so that the baby will know her real mother. And so I did. Since the past week, little Tina have been going for regular check-up to test for jaundice. It's really hurtful to see her cry whenever the nurse start drawing blood from her. But thankfully, her blood test shows that her jaundice is slowly decreasing. One last check-up on the 29th to make sure she's alright. Actually I'm not afraid that my baby would have severe jaundice since there's no history of the virus in our family's background. But still, as I read in some books, every baby must undergo this check-up. As for Putri, I can see the jealousy in her eyes. She's always trying to capture my attention. For me, I've been a really bad mother to her. Because of the sleepless nights, I feel irritated whenever she tries to play with me. I feel bad about myself. I'm thinking of spending more time with her and so next month, me and hubby are planning to bring her to probably the zoo or some other places of interest. I'm sure she'll be delighted. And oh, me and hubby will be holding a party for Putri's 4th birthday next month as well. So it's a double treat for Ms. Putri.

Sorry for not having any of my pictures taken. Really not in the mood. Pains here and there. I wonder when my stitches will drop off.

Shiok nampak! Haha.

Hello people! Sorry for being missing again. Finally the wait is over. I've just delivered my newborn baby girl last Monday on the 13th of October. Yes it's over the due date which is suppose to be on the 9th of October. I was terribly worried when I passed the due date. I went to the hospital eventually in hoping that my cervix would have open up a little bit. But to my disappointment, not even an inch! Those contractions that I felt earlier was just the stronger Braxton Hicks contractions.

So this is how it all started. The contractions were felt right past midnight. Just to make sure that I'm not having a 'false alarm', I tried to overcome it. When it lasted till the next morning, I knew it was the time. That is when I woke Mr. Hubby up and got myself cleaned up before heading to the hospital. During the journey there, I was afraid. Can you believe that?! Though it's my second pregnancy, the fear of giving birth still affected me. Actually, I can't really endure the pain when the contractions get really strong. We got straight to the labour ward and the nurse brought me to a room to check whether my cervix has opened up. Indeed, 3 cm dilated. I was happy but still, terrified. Haha. Then me and hubby were led into one of the labour ward's room. I was surprised because the room actually had a TV. There were no TV back then. So hubby switched it on and we watched Cartoon Network. Haha. It took really long for my cervix to be fully dilated. Eventhough the nurse induce me, my cervix still hasn't opened. From about 6.30am till 12pm, my cervix is still standing at 3 cm. A doctor finally came in and for the first time, she inserted her finger into my vagina and helped to stretch my cervix. The midwife who is in-charge of me then decided to insert a tube into my urine hole to clear all my urine. And I can tell you, it's the most painful experience I had. I cried and upon seeing that, hubby shed a tear for me. Aww. At about 1.30pm, the contractions got really strong. And that is when I started to scream. Haha. I was holding hubby's hand and when it was time for me to start pushing, I got out of control and pulled hubby's shirt instead. Haha. I felt as if I'm losing my mind. Seriously. At 2.22pm, little Tina is finally delivered. The relief is not over yet. The nurse took her own time to stitch me. I can tell you that she's not experienced at all. I can't believe that I could actually feel the pain of stitching whereas back then I didn't felt anything at all. It was terribly horrible. After that, the nurse made me a cup of hot milo while waiting for my bed. I couldn't speak properly and my back hurt alot. Hubby was so excited and he even told me that he couldn't control his tears when I delivered. I was really touched. Aww. The first night at the hospital, I couldn't sleep well because it was unusual that I still felt a mild contraction. This continued for a few days before it totally disappears. Anyway, here's a picture of my newborn taken only a few hours after birth.

Moleosophy

Moleosophy is based on the theory that moles can be interpreted, in a small way, as indicators of a person's character and also can foretell generalities for the future. The location of the mole, the color and shape are considered.

Round moles reveal the good in people; oblong, a modest share of acquired wealth; angular, represents both good and bad characteristics.

Light-colored moles are considered the luckiest; black moles, many difficulties before favorable results are achieved.

The signification of the moles by locations are as follows:

ANKLE - On a man, a fearful nature. On a woman, a sense of humor, courageous, willing to share love and worldly possessions with others.

ARMS - Courteous, industrious, happy marital relations. A man may have to fight many battles if the moles is near the elbow. He may also become a widower at an early age. A woman has the same characteristics, but her problems are in her occupation.

ARMPITS - Under the left arm, the early years are a struggle but ample remuneration, even riches, will make the later years very happy. Under the right arm, constant vigilance for welfare and security must be kept uppermost.

BACK - Be sure you have all the facts before you enter into negotiation of any enterprise.

BELLY - Self-indulgent. Avoid over-eating and excessive drinking. Try to keep a rigid check on your economy. Choose a marital partner who has an even, calm temperament and the gift of understanding.

BOSOM [breast or chest] - Quarrelsome and given to temper. This mole indicates a lazy, sometimes unsteady disposition. Lack of ambition may result in a colorless career.

BREAST - On the right side, indolence and intemperance may destroy happiness for self and family. Need to exert will power and self-discipline so that you can enjoy the love and comfort of the children you might have. On the left breast, an active, energetic person, able to concentrate upon the acquisition of wealth and property.

BUTTOCKS - Not very ambitious. Inclined to accept any way of life, even poverty.

CHEEK - Either cheek a serious, studious, almost solemn person. A middle-of-the-road point of view on most theories pertaining to living, religion, and politics. Wealth is not necessary for your happiness.

CHIN - Many people have a mole on the chin. Right or left, it designates people with enviable characteristics. These are people with loving, generous disposition. They are conscientious workers, and love to travel and acquaint themselves with the habits and customs of other peoples in distant countries. They are capable responsible citizens, willing to accept responsibilities for family and country.

EAR - Rare, but whoever possesses it may find riches far beyond expectations.

ELBOW - Tremendous desire to travel. Always uncertain. Usually talent connected with one or more of the arts. Capable of earning a fortune in money but rarely having the urge to work for it.

EYE - Poverty overshadows unusual talent. If the mole is located on the outside corner of the eye it means an honest, forthright person, one who is reliable but needs love and admiration to offset the struggle for existence.

EYEBROW - Over the right eyebrow, a mole signifies perseverance. A very active life and successful in everything - business, home, and family. Over the left eyebrow or temple, the reverse is threatened. Disappointments will be due to selfishness and indolence. Only with a maximum of effort can poverty be avoided.

FINGER - On any finger, dishonesty, inclined to exaggerate due to inability to face the hardships that must be confronted.

FOOT - Inclined to brooding akin to melancholia. Prefers a sedentary life but really needs a balanced amount of activity to remain healthy.

FOREHEAD - In the center of the forehead a mole predicts honors, wealth, love, and a happy, distinguished family. Right and left forehead mole interpretations are identical with 'eyebrow' classification.

GROIN [the crease at the junction of the inner part of the thigh with the trunk together with the adjacent region and often including the external genitals] - Despite prosperity, a mole on the right groin augurs ill health. On the left, frailty without much prosperity.

HAND - An abundance of almost everything, health, wealth, and happiness. Usually very talented.

HEEL - Very active mentally and physically. Ability to accumulate a fortune if so inclined, but makes enemies who continuously plague and cause petty annoyances.

HIP - A mole on any part of the hips except the buttocks, contentment, fortitude, and ingenuity are the salient attributes that balances an otherwise over-amorous nature.

INSTEP [the arch of the foot] - Quarrelsome, often sullen. Generally a keen interest in athletics.

KNEE - On the right knee, a friendly, amiable disposition. A great lover, desirous of family and home life. On the left knee, extravagant, and inconsistent, but an excellent business acumen.

LEGS - Many difficulties during early years but capable of surmounting them by sheer forcefulness. Resources must not be dissipated. Avert any tendency toward indolence.

NAVAL - On a man, very lucky. On a woman, desire to have many children.

NECK - Unexpected good fortune, if mole is on front of the neck. On either side, unreasonable. On the back, need to practice frugality.

NIPPLE - On a man, fickle and desirous of many amours. On a woman, always striving for social status.

NOSE - A sincere friend. Will achieve success, make an excellent marriage. A person dedicated to amassing great wealth even though the struggle often seems impossible.

SHOULDER - Generally restless, needs to travel to be satisfied with home surroundings. A mole on the right shoulder brings prudence, discretion; a faithful marriage partner; very industrious. On the left shoulder, satisfied with any position in life, both occupational and social.

WRIST - Frugal, ingenious, dependable. On a woman, one marriage. On a man, possibly two marriages.

When there are twin moles such as a mole on one wrist in a certain spot and an identical one on the other wrist, this is called a Gemini duality. The person possesses a dual nature. This pertains to all dual moles no matter what the location, such as legs, arms, cheeks, and so on. Two moles, side by side are said to indicate two loves.

Interesting find right.

Bought some stuff yesterday.

Aww. Ain't that cute?

Hubby is so excited for the baby that he fixed the cot 2 months in advance. Haha.

Lovely isn't it.

Charles & Keith are having a 50% sale and so I decided to bought a pair of shoes for the coming Hari Raya. Hubby chose this for me and luckily I loved it too. Haha.

My brother got back from Bandung yesterday. This is a compilation album of Singapore's grindcore [if I'm not wrong] band including my brother's band, Nazark. But since it's an underground band, you won't find this CD at HMV or etc. You can get them at gigs. My brother will be touring Thailand and Japan by end of this year. Whoa. After 10+ years playing, he finally made it! Congrats brother. Wish you all the best. And if any of you are interested to know more about his band, you can find it on MySpace.

Ok guys this is, as you all should know, Marlboro red. BUT. It's in kretek. Which means, it's like Gudang Garam but tastes like chewing gum. Haha. Cool stuff.
